Fire
The sun is up
The moon dropped
Vanish this coldness
Oh highness of light
Cease the darkness of our sight.
Water
Luna's smile shines
Luring poseidon's kingdom
The crystal water of divine
Kisses the cheeks of the million sands.
Earth
Its seed of life gives birth
To this world we call earth
Brave and tall it stands in might
Mortals breathe through its hands
Give this planet the rock they'll stand.
Air
King of storm, King of thunder
As the wind to thine is under
Twist the air, bend it to thy command
Breath and give life to this land.

The Love for Sophia
I am currently reading this book entitled "The Queen of the Sun" by E.J. Michael. I bought it from Booksale Bookstore at a very cheap price of Php 25.00. I was stunned at the cover's image, more of its art and got curious of the content, so decided to buy it. Despite the fact that the last money I had was only Php 40.00, even confused how to survive for three more days with only Php 15.00 left, the urge to read again is more powerful than worrying on how to survive with only this much left.
Last night, I started reading the book and can't hand it down. I am fascinated with the values and wisdom it tries to convey to me. I was so amazed on how the author presented the interconnected existence of life forms here on earth and earth itself to each of us. He was able to describe the lessons about relationships, existence, and purpose. My conscious thought of having environmental advocacy is of little compared to the knowledge and wisdom the book has given me so far (as i am not done reading it yet).
The exemplary existence of man as the highest being living, can both lead to the destruction and growth of what was given to us by the Divine being. The stewardship and the intelligence that we have are gifts from Him who knew and built everything. Every single goodness must come from us but it is mostly the opposite thing that is happening today, every single unit of chaos comes from us instead.
We forgot about the essence of love by giving and not counting what we receive. We are hesitant of sharing because we fail to trust and to be trusted. We are so conscious on what we can get and are never contented and happy of what we have. The spirit of being true and strong to our self council always bends with what we think is better which is mostly not.
In general, we thought of owning everything around us. These things are not ours, we are only care takers of these. We owe to give goodness, for everything we see around are products of His goodness and love to us. The privilege and gift of knowledge given to us is remarkable but we fail to seek what it is for and we fail to reciprocate the love Sophia had provided us.
It is a sad reality but never too late to embrace again what was originally our purpose in this earth, in this universe. Life should exist because we are there to defend it from dying and not to submit life to the what is worldly death. We seek knowledge, we abuse its power, and we fail to nurture it.
The book rekindled something inside me. The values and wisdom I got from the book are mere reminders (even if it is a book of fiction) to reflect about how I can possibly contribute to the energy of positivity that fuels good life. I can always start with searching again what was my real self council and would try to stick to it and be strong about it. Few quotes I love most (which are written under each chapter's title) are the following:
1. Life is either a daring adventure or nothing.
2. Our fears are like fences, we must jump over it to explore new territories.
3. Not only are the best things in life free; they are priceless.
4. Those who talks with God, are most worth listening to.
5. One does not become enlightened by imagining figures of light, but by making the darkness conscious.
6. Wisdom has two parents: joy and sorrow.
7. No man ever fell in love because he was good at it.
8. The greatest treasure one may find, are truths eternal of the mind.
9. A miracle is love made visible.
10. Love is eternal, those who love never dies.
I derived to few conclusions as my reflection reading this book and these are:
1.The journey to knowledge should always lead to wisdom,
And wisdom is knowledge used with no bad or ill intentions.
2. The essence and art of giving invites blessings to come to us without even knowing about it coming.
3. Everything is interconnected that we should be responsible and be sensitive to anything.
4. Anger, fear, greed and doubts can consume us and can cloud our natural enlightened decisive gift.
5. Love is a phenomenon we can never measure.

A song playing in my mind since yesterday
"Here By Me"
I hope you’re doing fine out there without me
‘Cause I’m not doing so good without you
The things I thought you’d never know about me
Were the things I guess you always understood
---- I remember the times before when we were away from each other. A day without a message from you or from me to you is already driving us insane. We always wonder how we were doing or what we were doing.
So how could I have been so blind for all these years?
Guess I only see the truth through all this fear,
And living without you…
---- We've been into hardships, much of it. Big things and little thing, it is only those times when we tried to stop and think about what's going and what went wrong. It was also the time when we appreciated more our relationship.
And everything I have in this world
And all that I’ll ever be
It could all fall down around me.
Just as long as I have you,
Right here by me.
italics---- In times of doubt, fear, and suffering we stick together. It is only you who understood me, no matter what.
I can’t take another day without you
‘Cause baby, I could never make it on my own
I’ve been waiting so long, just to hold you
And to be back in your arms where I belong
---- When we get back to each others arms, we always celebrate. We show once more our passion, affection, and faith to each other.
Sorry I can’t always find the words to say
But everything I’ve ever known gets swept away
Inside of your love…
---- There might be times when we hurt each other or we can't simply say what we want. But through listening to our silence, things will surely find its way to our hearts to understand.
And everything I have in this world
And all that I’ll ever be
It could all fall down around me.
Just as long as I have you,
Right here by me.
---- Things may get rough but we always sail together. No matter how low or high the tide was or no matter how big or small the waves were; we stick together.
As the days grow long I see
That time is standing still for me
When you’re not here
---- No matter how much I tried to forget you, fate won't allow me. In my sleep and in my dreams you are always there.
Sorry I can’t always find the words to say
Everything I’ve ever known gets swept away
Inside of your love
----Forgive me if there were times when I'm not tough for you. Pardon me if I hesitate to listen sometimes; I only wanted to stay quite to ponder on the things we've been through to understand you more.
And everything I have in this world
And all that I’ll ever be
It could all fall down around me.
Just as long as I have you,
Right here by me.
---- I don't want to lose you in the end, because I always feel loved and safe with you.
And everything I have in this world
And all that I’ll ever be
It could all fall down around me.
Just as long as I have you,
Right here by me.
---- In the end I want to be with you always. No matter what will happen, as long as you're here by me, I will be strong. :)
... I miss the old times.

part two get together
Another get together with high school friends. Only a few of us were able to attend the occasion since mostly of us are working already and were not able to go home for the holidays. One of us also passed away, Christian. During our get together, memories were discussed way back when he was still alive. We missed you Christian!
We still talk about the old memories and the new ones. Though it's been a long time since we graduated high school, all are the same. Happy and together once more.
